After much debate, we have decided to have a tent, and food, at the upcoming Cooper Cup on Sunday, April 25. Thank you to the Markee's for graciously offering to set up and take down the tent. If you are around in the morning or afternoon, please try and lend a hand to help out with the tent. The race schedule is not posted yet but the entries for the race are posted. It looks like the Boys Novice 4 is racing in the 4th event. I will update you on the times once they are posted (probably late Thursday night).
There are NO parking passes and parking is either at the side of the road or in a nearby parking lot. I don't recall having a problem finding parking last year. Please look for the Shipley tent first and then determine where you will park. You can probably park your car (with hazards on) and drop the food off at the tent and then look for a space. That's what I did last year. The finish line for the race is near the set of metal bleachers at the end of the road.
We will provide all paper goods, utensils and tablecloths. Please try and use disposable dishes as it will be difficult to get everything packed up.
Food assignments are as follows: (I will let you know on Thursday night what time food needs to be at tent)
Godfrey: Trailer (food for kids in am): fruit, granola bars, 2-3 dozen bagels/cream cheese
Morrison: pasta salad; brownies; 2 cases mini water
Markee: water (4 cases); ice; 1 case reg. soda
Petersen: hoagies
Storbeck: hoagies
Doolittle: snacks (chips/dips) cookies
McMullen: fruit salad
