Upcoming Season

Hello All,

I wanted to touch base in regard to the upcoming season. First of all, Beth Greene will not be returning this year. She has accepted a job coaching at her alma mater- Ithaca College. In order to keep some semblance of continuity on the girls' team, I have decided to coach the varsity girls this fall and Devin will be coaching the boys.

For those of you who are on the fence about rowing this fall, keep in mind that the overall feeling is much more relaxed than in the spring. We row 5 days per week instead of 6, except for weekends when there is a race on Sunday. I will be posting the tentative race schedule on the blog's calendar shortly. The fall is a great opportunity for novices to get a lot of miles under their belts so they are able to jump into a varsity boat in the spring and be a strong contributor.

I have a feeling that the roster that was provided to me by the athletic department is not accurate or current. Here is the list that they gave me:

If you are planning on rowing and are not on the list, please let me know as soon as possible. If you are on the list and shouldn't be, please let me know as well. I would like to see a better turnout than the numbers above indicate.
