The date for our mandatory swim test is now set. We will be holding it on Tuesday, March 1st. We will all meet in the White Blazer Lounge at 2:30 pm and take attendance. We will leave at 2:45 and walk over to Bryn Mawr College where we will be conducting the test. We should be back to the Shipley gym around 4 pm or so.
Everyone needs to bring a bathing suit, sweatpants and sweatshirt, a towel, and a plastic bag to carry your wet clothes and bathing suit back to Shipley afterwards.
The test consists of swimming one lap with all of your sweat clothes on, then swimming another lap in just your bathing suit. Finally, everyone will need to tread water for ten minutes. If anyone has any concerns about being able to complete this test, please contact me directly.
