Thank you so much to all the parents who volunteered today. Whether it was driving the trailer to/from the river, grilling or providing a delicious spread of food, it was truly appreciated by all. A few housekeeping details: We have two races scheduled on May 1; the Doc White (novice only) and the Cooper River (varsity). We are going to provide a tent, table, plastic container with utensils, plates, etc. for the Doc White race. We suggest providing sandwiches, salads and dessert only as it is a smaller race (19 kids). Therefore, Mary Lou Sterge will not be driving the trailer but will need to pick up one tent, table and container by April 30 from the trailer. Mark Verdeur will need to return the tent, tables, etc. back to trailer sometime during the following week. Food captain should bring down food for boathouse, ice, cooler, chips/pretzels, refreshments. The trailer will go to the Cooper Cup driven by Tim Storbeck. Parent responsibilities will remain the same. Thanks again for all your help! It was a great day at the river and we really enjoyed meeting all the new parents. Dee & Holly
