This week, and from now on, during the week the coaches will be driving the kids to and from the river in vans. On Mondays and Thursdays the vans will leave from the main parking lot as close to 3:30 pm as possible. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the vans will depart at 3 pm. The vans should return to the Shipley parking lot around 6:45 pm. As always, we will have Wednesdays off. Parents, please be sure to schedule any and all appointments for the kids on Wednesdays. When a rower misses a practice, it affects all of the other rowers in their boat.
I will be heading out of town tomorrow for a family funeral and will be returning on Wednesday. Kristen Giacchino will be coaching the girls while I am gone. Those returning varsity rowers will remember that Kristen helped us out last fall as well.
