As this season wraps up, I have been very happy to hear from so many parents about how they feel that crew has had such a positive effect on their kids' lives. Unfortunately, I usually only hear from the school when parents have sent complaints in via e-mail. People always find it's easier to send an e-mail when they are angry rather than when they are happy about something. Now I know that not every day has been smooth for every rower or their parents, but I really hope that the overall experience has been positive. Therefore, I would ask that if you genuinely feel like all of the work that the kids, coaches and volunteer parents have put in this year has been exemplary, that you take a minute to write a positive email to both Mark Duncan and Steve Piltch to let them know your feelings. As we all like to see positive press in the papers, it's also nice for the school to hear positive feedback from the parents. Thanks for your support and thanks for a great season. Tom
