Parent Information

This Coming Week

This week, we are scheduled to have a bus to the river on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Practices this week will be optional for all rowers not competing at Nationals this Friday and Saturday. If you are not racing but would like to row this week, please email Bonnie or Margaux to let them know as soon as possible. Also, please copy me on your email so I have an idea of how many people want to go to the river. If we dont have enough interest, i will cancel the bus to the river. It could be a fun opportunity to try out some different boats, or to try sculling if you have been sweep rowing this season. For the varsity rowers competing at Nationals, I know that the seniors have the baseball game on Monday to go to and the juniors have the college fair. Therefore I need to now from the rest of you (by copying me on your email to Bonnie and Margaux) who wants to go to the river on Monday as soon as possible so that I can cancel the bus if need be, as well as to let the snack parent know how many people to buy snacks for if any. Please let us know by tomorrow. The rowers who are competing at Nationals will be practicing on Tuesday as usual. On Wednesday we will will go out for a short row, then de-rig and load the trailer. We will practice on the Cooper River race course on Thursday. I will pick up the girls in a school van after classes on Thursday and take them to the race course. I will talk to JD to see how he wants to get the boys to the river. We will be staying at the Hyatt Regency in Penn's Landing on Thursday and Friday nights and will be having team dinners together. If you have any questions, please let me know. Tom
