Hello All,
First of all, I would like to announce that Ahsan and Linda Iqbal will be taking over for J.D. Bridges and will be co-coaching the varsity boys this year. They are the parents of Anisa Iqbal (10th grader this year) and their son Jeff also rowed at Shipley. Both of them have many years of coaching experience at the varsity level, and even coached at Shipley back in 2002. I know that they will do a great job, and I'm looking forward to a terrific season.
They have asked me to post some workouts for the varsity boys, since pre-season is only about three weeks away. Please don't show up on the 20th completely out of shape! Any girls who are not doing some kind of organized workouts should take part in these workouts as well.
