Nationals Plan

For the parents of kids that are competing at Nationals this weekend, the Shipley athletic department does not have the funds available to guarantee the same financial support towards our trip that they have in the past.  Therefore, for those of you that can, I am asking if you would be able to provide a donation toward this weekend's expenses.  If you are unable to contribute, please don't worry about it.  I will put all expenses on my Shipley credit card.  I'm sure that the athletic department will be able to contribute some money, but I'm not sure how much so far.  I will make up the difference with money in our crew account. If you are willing to make a donation, please make checks out to The Shipley School and mail them to my P.O. Box.

JD and I will be picking up the rowers tomorrow directly after school in two Shipley vans from the gym circle.  Rowers should bring their luggage to school with them tomorrow.  We will go directly to the race course to rig the boats and go out for a practice row, so make sure you are wearing your rowing clothes when we pick you up.  We will then go to the hotel to check in and shower and then go out to dinner.  We are staying at the Wyndham hotel at 4th and Arch in Philadelphia.
