Hey all,
Black Bear Sculling is a pretty good program. Also, Penn AC runs a program that practices two times a week and does not have any races. It is pretty low stress and was a fun thing for me to do after my Soph year and kept me in shape all summer. This being said, if you or your child are looking to make some serious headway in getting faster I would STRONGLY suggest doing a summer long program. If you are interested in doing something along those lines send me an e-mail, ARamsey@ShipleySchool.org or AAR65@Cornell.edu, and I can help you find a program that is most suited to you and your child's interests. Tom also has tons of information about programs and camps that kids have enjoyed.
