For those of you who missed the organizational meeting last week... and those that are still confused as to exactly what we need for volunteers...
There are 3 areas where we need parent volunteers. We need Bus Chaperones, Food and tent help on race days, and we will also need volunteers to help with one Regatta since Shipley is a host member of the PSRA. this year we will need 10 volunteers to help on April 17. More details about this will come later.
BUS CHAPERONE info- WE ARE ALMOST THERE!
We need a parent to chaperone the bus down to the river and back for practice each weekday during crew season. We have 10 slots to fill at this point! Mar 22 &23, Apr 6,7,8,12, 14, 25 and May 16, 17.
Many parents feel that their work schedules release them from this chaperoning obligation. We need every family to provide one volunteer for bus chaperone one time during the season. It is about 3 hours of your time, and while you are down at the river you will be free to do what you need to do while practice is going on. Most parents have found the opportunity to go out on the launch with the coach really gives them an understanding of what the sport is all about. To sign up for a time, go to the schedule
Since people don't like having their inboxes filled with "reply-all" emails about who is doing what, please use this google document to sign up for Chaperoning the Crew bus, it will automatically save your information and update it for the next user.
